    A fully automatic cling film rewinding machine equipped with a curling (hemming) function is a specialized high-speed system designed to produce retail-ready rolls. The curling unit is critical for finishing the edges of the film, providing structural integrity and ease of use for the end consumer.
     
    Key Technical Features
    Integrated Curling System: Automatically folds or "curls" the edges of the cling film during the rewinding process. This prevents the film from tearing easily at the edges and makes it simpler to locate the start of the roll.
    Multi-Shaft Turret System: Usually utilizes a 6-shaft turret configuration. This allows for non-stop production; while one set of shafts is winding, the others are unloading finished rolls and loading fresh paper cores.
    PLC and HMI Control: Features a programmable logic controller ( Siemens ) with a touch-screen interface to adjust parameters like roll length, winding speed, and curling tension.
    Automatic Core Loading & Finished Roll Discharge: Eliminates manual handling. A hopper feeds paper cores into the winding station, and finished rolls are automatically pushed onto a conveyor belt.
     
    Tension Control:  Servo-driven tension systems ensure the cling film (PE or PVC) is wound tightly without over-stretching, which is vital for maintaining the film’s "cling" properties.
